Busy Sunday

It’s been an overly busy day today. A couple of weeks ago, my husband declared that he wants to learn to scuba dive. Although I haven’t dived for a few years, I’m an experienced diver and I latched on to the idea. It will be nice to get back in the water. Today we went and bought some basic equipment – masks, fins, boots and an open water diving course. That will do for a start.

I will need to do a refresher course, get my buoyancy back and relearn a few things, but I am really excited about it. I’m looking forward to it and can’t wait to start. In the meantime, I will need to research under water cameras. I would really like one to do some macro photography, photograph some of the tiny marine life that I love so much. Also, we have some of the greatest diving around here and in the winter, the waters are really clear. I’m looking forward to going to Noumea and the Philippines with my husband (provided my business allows it) now that we will be able to dive together.

Then, I completed a layout based on the following photo. It is of me at about 4 years of age holding the mirror for my father. I must have been just the right height for a mirror stand.
