a day for triffids
Some psycho keeps calling my office wanting to lodge a complaint with the manager that someone was rude to her. She has made about 5 calls already.
That would have been me. I took the call. It was an enquiry for a price. She was told the price, she said it was too much and would look elsewhere. I said, “that’s fine, thank you for your call” and hung up. Apparently that’s not good enough.
What else are we supposed to do? Chat? What are the obligations to someone that is not bringing any income to the business, has no cause for complaint and is not a client or ever likely to be?
Anyway, I’ve just added number display service to the business phone.
