what? no hot water?

We woke up this morning in zero degree celcius winter conditions and there was no hot water. It was the most painful shower I’ve ever had.

The first phone call of the morning was to the electrician. He came in the afternoon and fixed it. He’s my hero. :) The thermostat fused. It’s an off-peak system so it won’t start heating the water unitl midnight but at least we can have a hot shower.

    Oh, what a wake up call….cold shower in the middle winter. Glad you were able to get it fixed quickly. I’m on the other side of the world and in the throes of a heat wave…air conditioning running (watch hydro meter spin).
    Very nice blog and I love your layouts.

    Wow! I am sorry to hear about your cold shower! We are having hot weather here and our cooler wasn’t working right the other day. So it was 85 in the house! How’d youanimate the butterfly? Very cool!
