so cold and a freebie

After the excitement of the last few days (see post below), I thought I would just ramble about how cold it’s been… I’m hoping that we’ve had our coldest winter days. Temperatures dropped to daytime 15 degrees celcius and lordy knows what they were at night but we turned the heaters on at home and I sent my husband to buy two more because our air conditioners are broken. One by one, all the airconditioners in the house have been failing and we’ve decided that we’ll replace them with ducted aircon.

At work, I found out that the air conditioners don’t have reverse cycle so I had to get heaters for the office. Indoor temperatures dropped to 18 degrees inside and it was not comfortable working conditions.

I’m having my nails done today and I hope the salon is heated and that I can forget about the heating at home and at work.

Other than that, the rain has stopped, the sun is out and it is a glorious winter’s day and I’m about to go and sit outside in a sunny spot and have my breakfast.

Here are some layouts I’ve done this week (you can click on the thumbnail to make the pictures bigger), one for Natalie Bird and one for Dawn Inskip:

An ATC for Debra Tope‘s designer spotlight at Oscrap. I’m a guest on Debra’s CT this month and it’s been fun. There’s a bit of a hidden meaning in it, can you guess what it is?

This one was for a challenge by scarletheels CT, we have fun like this:

And the freebie is a postage stamp frame that I made.
