Where to start… Probably best start with a warning that this is a whiny post.
My mother arrived Saturday 2 weeks ago and she arrived sick. So it’s been very busy driving her around from doctor to doctor trying to find a) one she liked and b) one that actually did some good. We found one but not before I lost a lot of time off work to drive her around and not before my husband came down with the same illness as her. I ended up with two patients.
With mum’s health needs taken care of, I then had to find her entertainment. Mainly, she was happy sitting next to me at my computer and watching over my shoulder everything I do. Aside from the fact that I couldn’t do much that is private, such as chatting with my friends online without her wanting to know the full story, every time a photo of a person or child pops up on the monitor, she wanted to know who it is.
Lots of photos pop up on the monitor. I like to look at the digi scrapping galleries which are mainly composed of layouts with people on them. Then, I like reading the communities such as Digishoptalk.com or one of the CTs that I’m on and a lot of the people display their photo as their avatar. She doesn’t understand the concept of online and that I don’t personally know all the people whose photo pops up on my monitor.
Both patients are now well and doing fine and I took my mother to the airport yesterday for her flight back home.
Then, I had an appointment with a neurologist for some nerve conduction tests. The thumb index and middle fingers of my left hand started to tingle. The results show that I have mild carpal tunnerl sysndrome and I have to have my wrist in a sling. Hopefully, it will go away.
So it’s been a very busy week or two.
Here are some pages that I’ve finished:

Great layouts. I hope everyone feels better soon and your wrist heals well.
I know what you mean about the photos on the computer. DD asks me, “who is that?” and “do you like that person more than me?” which is starting to drive me crazy! Love the middle LO! LOVE it!
